Tribute to Dominique Mercier

Since 2019, the Extens team has been supporting 101 (One-O-One), the first international endowment fund dedicated to intensive care.

Intensive Care is the specialty that is involved every time a patient faces a life-threatening condition, regardless of the cause : be it a cardiovascular disease, complications due to cancer, traffic accident, etc. On average, individuals will be admitted to an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) twice during their lifetime. 

101's ambition is to advance intensive care throughout the world by accelerating intensive care reasearch and exploit of data, as well as accompanying medical staff in implementing research results to improve practices, quality of care and reduce mortality. 101 developed a network of more than 1200 ICUs in 66 countries over the world, which share the same vision and consent to implement 101's strategic program.

By supporting 101, you will help intensive care professionals give a "second" life to the most critically ill and offer the best chances of a complete recovery to every patient.

This was a very important cause for Dominique Mercier, a long-time friend of 101, partner of Extens and President of Bow Medical (an anesthersia and intensive care software publisher) who left our world at the beginning of the year.

Our goal: by the end of June, we hope to raise 101,000 euros for intensive care units, thanks to your donations for which you will receive a tax receipt.
